There are 21,980,768 registered voters in the great state of California—and our campaign's goal is to reach as many of them as we can, including rural voters, first-time voters, Republicans, and independents.
But it's not cheap to reach voters, especially in California where there are 16 media markets, including two of the nation's largest—and most expensive:

Last night House Republicans passed a bill which links raising the country's debt ceiling with spending cuts and policy changes.
Here's what you should know: The debt ceiling and future spending are two separate things that Congress has to deal with.
Kevin McCarthy and some of the most extreme in his party want to link these to hold the entire economy hostage in order to further an extremist agenda.
Their budget includes support for Big Oil and draconian cuts to just about everything—except defense spending.
Now, because we have a divided government, this bill won't be signed into law in its current form. Can you add your name to our petition to show your support for a budget that invests in the future of our country?
The budget that President Biden has proposed would do just that—from investments in affordable child care to increasing Pell Grants, it would invest in our future workforce while raising taxes on billionaires and large corporations.

It's National Park Week, and while I may be biased, I think California has some of the best. As a Member of the Natural Resources Committee, I'm committed to protecting our National Parks, public lands, and all of the natural resources our state has to offer.
My bill to raise rates on polluters who drill on our public lands finally took effect this year. But there's so much more to do:

President Biden officially announced he's running for re-election! Can you make a donation today that will be split between our campaigns?
I won't give you a lecture on the stakes of the 2024 presidential election, or a laundry list of reasons why a Trump or DeSantis presidency would be so dangerous for our country...
Instead I'll leave you with optimism for a second term of the Biden presidency. At the State of the Union earlier this year, some of my favorite moments included President Biden talking about continuing our work to hold big corporations and billionaires accountable. From cracking down on stock buybacks to creating good-paying jobs, he reminded us that we can—and we must—build an economy that works for working people. Capitalism can and should be about lifting up workers. But we need elected leaders in every corner of government who are fighting on behalf of families, not big corporations.
That starts with making sure we re-elect President Biden and support the work his campaign will do across the country to uplift Democrats up and down the ballot.
