We're in the final lap of this election and all signs point to a photo finish. Our race is a must-win for Democrats to take back the House.
What happens in our swing district will decide whether Democrats win the majority or MAGA extremists stay in control. If we lose here, we hand Mike Johnson and Marjorie Taylor Greene the Speaker's gavel for another two years.
It's safe to say the stakes have never been higher.
And there's no more time - ballots are mailed out next week! We have to be running at full steam ahead to lock in as many of these voters as possible.
Unfortunately, Republicans are spending millions of dollars against us and their ads are running at maximum overdrive (thanks to Elon Musk's donations…)
I need your grassroots support right now to keep our ads on the air and fight back — because every single vote matters. The last poll between me and my MAGA opponent, Kevin Lincoln, showed me down by 1 point. But there are still a ton of swing voters we can reach in a short amount of time!
When I say, "The stakes have never been higher," I'm not just talking about the stakes for our race. I'm talking about the state of our country.
If Kevin Lincoln wins, he'll become California's version of Marjorie Taylor Greene. The last thing we need is for our wonderful state to be known for sending an extremist like that to Congress. It's bad for our democracy and it's incredibly detrimental to my community.
We can't let that happen — and our grassroots team is working around the clock to ensure that it doesn't. Our neighbor-to-neighbor volunteer program is ramping up quickly and last weekend we knocked on thousands of doors (a new record for this election!). Clearly, our race will be decided by a few hundred voters, so we have to out-organize the Republicans.
I know that you don't want to look back the day after this consequential election and wish we had done more — nor do you want to turn on the TV to see Kevin Lincoln high-fiving Mike Johnson and Marjorie Taylor Greene as they plot to criminalize abortion nationwide.
For the next few weeks until Election Day, we need to stick to our game plan, which is: 1) make sure voters know how dangerous a MAGA-controlled Congress would be; 2) make sure voters understand how Democrats' policies help their day-to-day lives.
