- The Biden-Harris administration passed the most significant gun safety legislation in 30 years. The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) enhanced background check restrictions, supported red flag laws, and funded mental health and school programs to address gun violence.
- Vice President Harris oversees the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. This office oversees the implementation of BSCA nationwide, works with local and state officials, and finds new executive actions.
