Our healthcare system isn’t broken, it’s fixed

No one should be denied the care they need, especially not in the wealthiest nation in the world.

Jason,   Heartbreaking. Frustrating. Maddening. That's the only way to describe the flood of stories I'm seeing from Americans who were denied medical insurance claims.    Healthcare is a human right.    No one should be denied the care they need, especially not in the wealthiest nation in the world.    Yet millions of Americans are uninsured, underinsured, or struggling to meet rising treatment costs while private healthcare companies rake in billions in profit every year.    We don't need to accept the high insurance company denial percentage as a matter of course.
