Proud to stand with Zohran Mamdani for Mayor

Jason,   I just got back from Queens, New York, where I stood shoulder to shoulder with Zohran Mamdani. Zohran is unafraid to take on entrenched power, to fight for working families, and to imagine a city where public transit, childcare, and housing are affordable for all.   If you had told me when I was growing up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, that there would be an Indian-American of Hindu faith representing Silicon Valley, introducing an African-born Indian of Muslim faith, who would be the next mayor of New York, I would have told you only in a Mira Nair film, but it's happening. We both believe that the wealthiest country in the world should work for the many, not the few.   Right now, people can't afford rent or childcare. Healthcare and SNAP benefits are being cut.
