Jason,
In a few days, I’ll be participating in a debate at the Yale Political Union. The topic is ending the gerontocracy — something I am obviously passionate about already.
As I’ve been prepping for the debate, I came up with an idea: asking you for input.
A lot of Leaders We Deserve supporters are older people themselves, but they are just as fed up with the status quo as we are. No matter how old we are, we are finding common ground and building an intergenerational coalition to end the gerontocracy. That’s why hearing your perspective about this issue is invaluable to me.
I want to know: Why do you want to end the gerontocracy, Jason? Why are you invested in this fight to elect a new generation of bold progressive leaders?
