I'm pissed.
Last night, I watched Senator Casey debate David McCormick for the first time. And, look, I expected lies from the guy who can't speak straight about where he lives, but what genuinely stunned me was this deeply offensive line from Dave:

Let me tell you something, Dave: Women in Pennsylvania (and across the country) aren't going to "get past" having our rights and freedoms stripped away. We aren't going to get past fear and anger for women living under abortion bans in ⅓ of this country because Roe v. Wade was overturned. Women are not going to "get past" the issue of abortion and how dare you suggest they should.
Extreme politicians like David McCormick would love nothing more than to move on from this issue because they know the vast majority of the country finds their position disqualifying.
Let's show David McCormick we damn sure aren't going to "get past" abortion. Make a $5 donation now to punish these controlling politicians at the ballot box by advertising their deeply unpopular views on women's rights.
I spent a lot of time unsurprised as David McCormick lied his way through the debate last night. But that comment struck a nerve for me, and I'm sure it did for countless other women in Pennsylvania, too.
Here's why his comment frightens me: David McCormick could win and be the next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania. This race is locked in a dead heat, and if we don't raise the resources we need right now to ensure every Pennsylvania voter hears about McCormick's record on women's rights, I fear he may pull it off and flip PA red.
That's why I'm channeling my energy today to ask for your help. Please, if you can afford to right now, chip in $5 to help us blanket the airwaves with ads that hold David McCormick accountable for his opposition to women's fundamental rights.
Women's rights and our opportunity to restore Roe is on the ballot this cycle and the clock is ticking.
But what gives me hope is knowing Bob Casey and our team are in this fight to stop David McCormick with millions of energetic, passionate supporters like YOU. Together, we will win.
