Growing up in Pittsburgh and attending Carnegie Mellon University, I know the stakes of elections in our Commonwealth. As a gay, Black, Christian man, my rights have been up for legislation since the moment I could comprehend thought. That's not ok, and I'm tired of it.
We need representatives who represent all of the people, and the difference this November is stark. In the Senate, Bob Casey has been a champion for all Pennsylvanians. Meanwhile, his opponent is a Trump-endorsed Republican who will be a "yes" vote for Trump's extreme agenda.
Humanity is on the ballot this year. Democracy is on the ballot this year — but joy is also on the ballot this year. We have the power to vote for leaders like Bob Casey who will stand up for everybody they represent.
That's why I'm personally asking you to chip in $5 to Bob Casey's campaign. With so much on the line this year, we need you to do your part and meet the moment, period.
