The Republicans aren't just running one candidate against Wes.
They're testing a whole field — Larry Hogan, Andy Harris, even some guy named Ed Hale. They're doing focus groups and opposition research to find who will be the strongest contender to run against Wes with millions in spending behind him.
That's their strategy: Old Republicans with old ideas fighting to undo everything we've accomplished together.

These old guys probably can't believe that the one to undo their failed policies and reverse Maryland's multi-billion-dollar deficit is a young, dynamic governor like Wes Moore.
So they think they have their game plan: Hundred-thousand-dollar donor checks that can overwhelm our grassroots movement. They're hoping that we wait and see the state of the race before taking action.
But that's not the kind of leader Wes is, or the kind of campaign he'll run. We can start taking action right now if thousands of us get up off the sidelines and support this movement.
