California is holding one of the most important elections in the country this year on November 4.
By voting YES on Proposition 50, we can give power back to the people, combatting Donald Trump's unprecedented action to seize control of Congress.
Here's what's at stake:
Trump knows he's on track to lose the 2026 midterm elections because of his disastrous policies. But instead of winning over voters, he pressured Republican-led states like Texas to gerrymander their congressional maps—erasing Democratic-held seats before a single vote is even cast.
But in California, we're using our democracy to fight back. Proposition 50 gives voters the power to redraw our state's congressional maps in response to Trump's attack on fair representation, canceling out the GOP-gained seats in Texas.
