Hi, it's Carole King 🎶 and I'm personally writing this email.
When I was in public school in Brooklyn, New York, I learned that Pennsylvania was the Keystone State and that a keystone is the central, wedge-shaped stone in an arch without which the arch would collapse.
Bob Casey is a keystone in the U.S. Senate. Will you join me in supporting his re-election?
As a member of our narrow Democratic Senate majority, Bob serves on four committees to protect Pennsylvanians' paychecks, pensions, Social Security, and our very democracy. And he fights every day to lift working families.
Bob voted FOR the American Rescue Plan Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Last year, he worked with President Biden and Governor Shapiro to accelerate the restoration of I-95—and he credits and supports the workers who got it done in record time!
Bob lives in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and he's on the side of Keystone Staters.
Casey's Republican opponent lives in Connecticut in an enclave on the Long Island Sound where the water meets wealth, and the wealthy meet each other.
The Connecticut candidate is on the side of lowering taxes for American oligarchs, and he'll jump as high as the Florida felon tells him to.
Casey's opponent doesn't care about the people of Pennsylvania. Bob Casey does.
When I met with him recently, Bob spoke of his deep concern that childcare is so expensive for working moms and dads in his state. Senator Casey believes that parents should be able to have a family AND be part of the workforce—and he's determined to solve this problem.
We all need to pitch in to keep Bob Casey in the Senate. Will you join me?
