Yesterday, President Biden made news by sharing his support for a ban on Members of Congress trading stocks.
Katie has been fighting to ban congressional stock trading since getting to Washington, but passing this legislation into law has faced steep hurdles, as Members on both sides of the aisle trade stocks each year.
But when Members of Congress trade stocks, it erodes trust in our elected officials, and rightly so. Democrats should lead the way and help ban congressional stock trading for good.
