As we head into the final months of 2025, I also want you to know what your support has helped make possible so far: - We filed 39 lawsuits filed in just 34 weeks — and every time Trump breaks the law or violates the Constitution, I'll keep suing.
- We preserved more than $168 billion in federal funding for California — including money for schools, infrastructure, healthcare, and research.
- We've seen $33,600 returned to the state for every $1 spent on legal action (a pretty good investment if you ask me).
- We successfully blocked Trump's attempts to strip away over $11 billion in federal grant funding, dismantle agencies like AmeriCorps and HHS, and roll back constitutional rights like birthright citizenship and the right to vote.
- And we defended communities by prosecuting corrupt corporate landlords, securing felony convictions against fentanyl traffickers, and holding powerful special interests accountable.
This work matters — because when Trump targets California's funding, he's putting people's education, health, livelihoods, and even their lives at risk. But our work goes beyond the courtroom. My job is to protect Californians from bad actors, fight back against abuse of power, and build a future where justice and opportunity are available to everyone.
