We have just over 2 weeks left before Election Day. We need to work hard if we want to flip as many red seats to blue as possible. That's why I'm endorsing Jonathan Nez and Amish Shah. They're running in Arizona's first and second districts, fighting their hardest to flip red seats to blue.
Jonathan Nez is the first Native American to be nominated by a major party for Congress in Arizona. He has spent his whole life in rural Arizona and has dedicated his career to public service. I know that in Congress, he'll put the needs of the American people above partisan politics.
As an ER doctor, Amish Shah has seen firsthand how skyrocketing prescription drug costs have harmed the people he treats. As an Arizona state representative, he helped defeat one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the legislature and protect access to mifepristone.
Both these candidates are rejecting corporate PAC money because they want to do right by their constituents—not corporate special interests.
Arizona's first and second districts deserve leaders who care about them and have a track record of solving problems—that's Jonathan and Amish.
With everything that's on the line this election, from reproductive rights to healthcare and climate change—we need to flip as many red seats to blue as possible, and I can't do it without you.
