When our legislative session begins in exactly one month, I'll be legally barred from fundraising for months. But our Republican opponents don't have that restriction.
They'll be out there raising money like it's their full-time job, lining up dark-money groups and preparing to pour millions into Maryland to try to flip this seat.
We need to build up our resources while we can. Will you chip in any amount — even just $5 — today?
Remember: 2026 is an election year in Maryland. I'll be on the ballot — along with the entire Maryland Senate and Maryland House. Banner campaign years like next year are never cheap, but our race is going to be especially tough.
We are one of Republicans' top targets in 2026 because this seat has flipped parties between every governor for the last twenty years. I flipped it from a Republican — and now Donald Trump's allies want to flip it right back.
Republicans are cashing in every favor they can to win in Maryland. They're calling up old candidates, running focus groups, doing opposition research, and preparing to funnel millions into whoever they think has the best shot at flipping this seat back to red.
All of our progress is on the line in Maryland in 2026. And whether we have the resources to fight back depends on what we achieve before the deadline in just one month.

Our goal and a new poll
We set a mid-month goal of raising $10,000 because this race is getting extremely competitive, and we need the resources to stay on track. Especially when a recent poll shows us neck-and-neck with two MAGA Republicans.
Katie urgently needs support to make sure these extreme candidates don't become California's next governor. Chip in $5 today to help our campaign stop them.
