Courage to Change — Alexandria's leadership PAC — is working hard to keep progressive champion Jamaal Bowman in Congress. CTC just spent $235,000 on TV and digital ads to support Jamaal ahead of his primary election on June 25.
Jamaal has been an unequivocal voice in supporting Palestinian human rights and calling for a ceasefire. And because of that, he now has a serious primary challenge that is largely financed by AIPAC. They're raising significant resources from Republicans, and have endorsed Republicans who supported the January 6th attacks.
This is a bare knuckle fight. For so long the fear of standing up for Palestinian human rights and actually fighting for a lasting peace has been the third rail in American politics.
But Courage to Change is fighting back against AIPAC's massive spending because it's critical we keep growing our progressive movement in Congress this year.
