Jason,
This weekend, millions of Americans will gather with family and friends, march in parades, fire up the grill, and watch fireworks as we celebrate America's 250th birthday.
When I think about what makes America extraordinary, I think about our people.
It’s the farmworkers who feed our families. The public school teachers who prepare the next generation. The nurses who care for our loved ones. The first responders who answer the call when we need them. The workers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners who keep our communities strong.
That’s why I’m most proud to be on Team America.
To me, Team America means investing in our people—not endless wars. It means making college and trade school free, capping child care costs at $10 a day, rebuilding American manufacturing, rewarding work instead of wealth, and putting working families ahead of billionaire donors and special interests.
That’s the America I’m fighting for.
Two hundred and fifty years ago, our founders launched an extraordinary experiment in self-government. Every generation since has had the responsibility to move our country closer to its promise. Now it's our turn.
As you celebrate this Fourth of July, I'd love to hear from you.
What gives you hope about America's future?
Send me a text at (650) 999-9610 and let me know how you're celebrating—and what you hope the next 250 years will bring.
Thank you for your activism and all that you do.
Happy Fourth of July!
