I don't need to remind you of what's at stake in this election. If Republicans keep control of Congress and Donald Trump finds his way back to the White House, our democracy will be in serious jeopardy. And I don't say that lightly.
We need to re-elect my friend Josh Harder, who is on the frontline of the battle for the House majority. Right now, National GOP groups are spending millions of dollars on attack ads against Josh to drown out his message and mislead voters.
But here's what they don't get: Josh is one of the hardest-working, most dedicated public servants I know. He's always out there talking to folks, listening to their concerns, and fighting for his community.
That's why this race is so crucial. If we lose Josh's seat, we lose one of our strongest voices for working families and a critical path to flipping the House back to Democratic control.
I've been proud to work with Josh over the years and see how hard he fights for his community. Let me tell you: he is a one-of-a-kind leader and champion for working families. Whether it's lowering prescription drug prices, investing in our schools, or standing up to special interests, Josh is exactly the kind of representative we need in Congress.
In order to protect our democracy, we have to keep Josh in Congress. Defeating Trump and taking back the House majority is within reach, but it's going to take all of us stepping up to make sure we win this critical toss-up seat.
