Later today, I'll step onto the debate stage with Josh Hawley. But before I go, I want to be upfront about what we're up against in this election.

Josh Hawley has spent months hammering me with false attack ads and spreading lies about my service, my vision for Missouri, and so much more.

Hawley knows his extreme record and failure to deliver for our state made him the least popular GOP Senator up for re-election this year. He's seen the recent polls that have us within just a few points of defeating him. And today, I know he's going to give this debate everything he's got by continuing to lie, lie, lie.

He's lying because he's scared. Scared of everyday people like me and you taking back power for ourselves. Scared of jeopardizing his luxurious coastal lifestyle. Scared of actually having to show up for Missouri in the U.S. Senate.
