Josh Harder for Congress

Hi Jason,

It's been 1 week since the Election - and it feels like a month.

With all the craziness in the world right now (more on that later), I wanted to share some positive news: we have won re-election and held CA-9 blue!

We knew ballot counting would be slow, and with this week's new batch of results, we now feel confident we will win. I'm incredibly honored and so, so grateful to this team for all your help and support.

I'll also be honest, this past week has been a whirlwind. Our race was extremely close and it's going to be one of the last races called in the country. We knew this seat was going to be important, but given what's happened on the national level, we had no idea.

So what comes next? To be frank, I have a lot of reflecting to do. We as a Democratic Party also have a lot of reflecting to do. And we need to prepare for what's to come.

Here's my promise to you: I will do my best to make progress where we can and resist any attempts to take our country backwards. We simply have no other choice.

Thank you for everything you have done to help our campaign - we have a long road ahead but I'm not giving up.

In gratitude,
Josh
