Today, we want to shine a spotlight on Derek Tran, a Truth to Power endorsed candidate who flipped a critical district in southern California from red to blue last year!
Derek proved that candidates who stand up for families and take a bold anti-corruption stance can win close races.
Derek won his race by just 653 votes. Thanks to the people who made calls, knocked doors, and spoke to their neighbors in his district, we gained a valuable voice and critical vote in the fight against the Trump administration.
But we cannot take this win for granted. Experts at the Cook Political Report have already rated his re-election a toss-up, and Republicans will surely pull out all the stops to flip this seat back to red.
We must stand with Derek and Truth to Power candidates across the country to take back the House in 2026–putting a critical roadblock in the way of Trump's agenda.
