You didn't hold back. Some of the biggest barriers that this team cited were:
❌ Money: Without the resources of incumbents and traditional politicians, young candidates struggle to gain traction when they run for office.
❌ Credibility: Young people aren't taken seriously by older voters or the political establishment. Most often, young candidates are discounted and ignored.
❌ Access/Knowledge: New candidates lack the mentorship, information, and infrastructure they need to build effective campaigns in competitive races.
Too many young people feel like they don't have what it takes — not because they aren't qualified, but because the system is rigged to preserve the status quo.
These are real barriers. And they're keeping some of the best potential leaders on the sidelines.
