Jason,   The American healthcare system is broken. The average American spends over $13,000 annually on healthcare, more than twice what people in other wealthy countries pay. Yet the results are bleak: One in four Americans says they can't afford their prescriptions. This landmark bill would give states the power and resources to create comprehensive single-payer health care for their residents, regardless of income or employment status.   Quality, affordable health care is a right, not a privilege.
