Serving as Attorney General of California is a profound honor and responsibility — one I carry with deep seriousness and resolve. My fellow state Attorneys General and I are the first and last line of defense against corruption and overreach.
Together we're standing up to stop unlawful power grabs by the federal government, defend our immigrant communities, protect reproductive freedom, safeguard our environment, and so much more.
As we face unprecedented challenges, I promise to remain steadfast in fighting for your rights, protecting our democracy, and holding this lawless administration accountable whenever it crosses the line.
Together we will protect our fellow Californians from bad actors, fight back against abuses of power, and build a future where justice and opportunity are available to each and every person in this great state.
