She’s tough. She speaks truth to power. She’s fearless in the face of vitriolic attacks from Donald Trump and the far right. She works day in and day out to protect our fundamental rights and strengthen our democracy. She’s a colleague, and she’s a friend. Her name is Jasmine Crockett. And I’m incredibly proud to be endorsing her in Texas’ U.S. Senate race. Will you join me in standing with Jasmine and help her flip Texas blue this November by making a split donation to her Senate and my congressional campaign? When I decided to run for Senate again last summer, I did so because I simply couldn’t give up on the movement we’d built together in 2024. We ran one of the biggest grassroots campaigns in Texas history. I felt in my bones that we could take another crack at it – and win. But the race, just like life itself, didn’t go to plan. I ended my campaign in December. The Democratic primary was almost certainly headed for a costly, chaotic runoff, which would’ve left our party divided. With the threat of a MAGA loyalist winning this Senate seat looming large, that wasn’t a risk I was willing to take. The truth is that making that decision wasn’t easy. Far from it. Now, I’m running for Congress in Texas’ 33rd newly GOP-gerrymandered district – and things are heating up for Jasmine ahead of next month’s Senate primary. We’re both in the places we’re meant to be, to do the most good for the people of Texas. Before this race, the GOP was worried about Jasmine. Her voice, her power. Now? They’re terrified. MAGA Republicans know exactly what’s coming for them if she flips this seat: courage, clarity, and leadership that can’t be bought or bullied. Jasmine is the leader we need in the Senate to not only fight back against Trump and his corruption – but also to imagine something better for our state and country. The days of being reactive are over. We have to be proactive in uniting folks around a shared vision for our future. Jasmine has the tenacity it takes to bring that vision to life. And here’s something else that matters deeply to me: If Jasmine wins this race, she will be the first Black Senator from Texas – ever. That kind of representation can change what’s possible for millions of folks. So today, I’m asking you to chip in to help Jasmine win this Senate seat – and to help me win my congressional race in TX-33. We’re both running grassroots campaigns that rely on your support, and every dollar makes a huge difference. Thank you for joining me and Jasmine on our journey to flip Texas blue.
