As the nation’s only Black governor, getting more Black leaders into higher office is personal for me.
That’s why I’ve made uplifting our community a priority in Maryland, and it’s why I’ve also traveled the country — South Carolina, Georgia, Nevada — standing with candidates who have a proven record of moving us forward, especially when times get tough.
Because here in Maryland, we know what it looks like when a leader actually shows up.

$816 million in procurement awards to Black-owned businesses. HBCU funding up nearly 60%. Nearly 1,500 Black Marylanders helped into homeownership for the first time. And just recently, expedited admissions support for students affected by disenrollment from Howard University.
That's what governing for all of us looks like — and it uplifts everybody.
I need this team behind me to keep up this important work. Can you chip in today to help power our re-election effort?
