When the clock struck midnight on New Year's, Zohran Mamdani officially took office as the Mayor of New York City, promising to deliver on his bold agenda.
Zohran's victory was powered by young voters. He didn't pander to them. He treated New Yorkers of all ages with respect, offering specific policies to improve their lives, and meeting them in the places where they already consume content. He did something rarely seen in politics — he actually listened. He asked voters what he could do for them instead of telling voters what he thought they wanted to hear.
