Everyone was watching. Reporters wanted to know how much support was out there for Beto. Our opponents wanted to gauge the strength of our movement.
We smashed the record. More than $6.1 million raised in our first 24 hours! A new record for presidential campaigns that almost no one expected we'd hit.

Now, in 10 days we face our next public numbers report. We have our first official FEC deadline, where we'll have to say exactly how much we've raised.
Other candidates have had more time to raise money — one candidate even reported raising more than $10 million already. And some of the sitting senators running started with $8 to $12 million in the bank from their old campaign accounts.
The best thing we can do to show all the energy behind Beto's candidacy is to keep pushing our numbers higher and higher. That's why we're asking now:
