Hi Jason, my name is Cynthia.
I'm part of the team that just traveled with Beto to 18 cities and towns across Texas — I've been by his side since his historic campaign for U.S. Senate in 2018. And I'm writing this email to tell you nothing makes me more hopeful about Beto serving as our next Governor than all the amazing people that show up and are a part of this Texas-sized effort.
A lot of politicians like to talk. Beto listens. Even at our most crowded rallies, he spent hours hearing people out, one-on-one, about the issues that make them want to change who's in charge in Texas.
In Texarkana, a small town bordering Arkansas, he heard what it's like to live just blocks away from a state with expanded Medicaid and more affordable care.
In West Texas, he heard the frustration of dealing with jacked-up utility bills, thanks to Greg Abbott siding with energy companies instead of rural communities.
And up in the Panhandle, he heard about the need for more jobs across Texas — not just in our big cities.
When Beto talks about building a vision for Texas that's big enough for everyone, he really means it. Every day we spend on the road traveling to every corner of this state, we're bringing more and more folks into that vision.
Texans are ready for a Governor who cares about their health, their livelihoods, and their families. But we need YOUR help to elect him.
