Today, I joined Jen Psaki on MSNBC to discuss my Trump-endorsed opponent, David McCormick, and the stakes of this race.
I'm going to be straightforward: Our fundamental rights are on the line this November. If we want to protect basic freedoms like women's rights, workers' rights, and voting rights, we need to protect our Senate majority.
I'm up against an anti-choice mega-millionaire who supports an abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest, called the overturning of Roe v. Wade a "huge victory," and if elected, would be a "yes" vote to ban abortion nationwide.
If we lose here in Pennsylvania, Democrats will almost certainly lose both the Senate and the White House, paving the way for national Republicans' anti-choice agenda. That's not a risk I'm willing to take. McCormick's billionaire backers are dumping millions upon millions into Pennsylvania to flip this battleground red – and now back-to-back polls show this race is tightening.
