I know Democrats across the country are feeling anxious about this election and wondering if there's anything they can do to shape its outcome.
Here's something — and it's important — especially before tonight's FEC fundraising deadline ends:
Control of the House of Representatives runs through California. We have more toss-up races than any other state in the country.
If we win these races, Democrats can take control of the House. If we lose these races, there's almost no chance.
But in every instance, right-wing outside spending groups are targeting the Democratic candidate with ads to defeat them. So these candidates need our help to fight back.
Jason — this is a moment that reminds me of Bobby Kennedy's speech at the 1964 Democratic Convention.
Bobby Kennedy said that JFK would have never been able to accomplish any of what he did without the support of all of you — the Democratic Party.
He said that when we're in it together, we can accomplish a great deal. That remains true today, and it's the only way we'll take back the House this November: together.
