As you probably saw, Donald Trump announced his VP pick and unfortunately for Marjorie Taylor Greene, it wasn't her.
I actually find Trump's pick of JD Vance even scarier. Here's why:
JD is around the same age as me, only 39 years old. He's in his 2nd year as a Senator from Ohio. He's isolationist, anti-abortion and said he would have overturned the election results on January 6th.
But Trump didn't choose JD because of his past beliefs. Trump tapped JD for what he can become. JD is a newcomer to the political scene - he has no allegiances to the old-guard of the Republican Party. His only loyalty is to Trump and his MAGA followers.
He isn't just a Vice Presidential pick, JD is Trump's new heir apparent.
By picking someone so young, Trump is building a legacy to ensure his MAGA movement lasts beyond his next 4 years as President. Trump isn't just focused on winning a 2nd term. He's focused on a long term plan to remake the Republican party into the Party of Trump… for generations.
This election is no longer about Biden v. Trump. This election is about stopping MAGA extremism from becoming the dominant party in American politics for a generation.
We have to prevent Donald Trump and JD Vance from taking complete control over our government. That's why we need to invest in critical House races like mine - and we have to act now or else we will lose this election.
Our race is the last line of defense against this bleak future. Now is the time to help.
