Jason,
FIRST: The United States lead the world in steel production. In the mid-20th century, we produced over fifty percent of the world's steel, providing jobs to over 700,000 Americans.
THEN: Over 40 years of failed economic policy drove manufacturing overseas and devastated communities like Lordstown, Ohio, and Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
We went from being the world's largest exporter to the world's largest importer of steel.
NOW: It's time to make steel in the United States again. And we can do it better and cleaner than China.
Sign if you agree: It's time to invest in modern clean steel production.
