This election year, we're ramping up energy and excitement to elect candidates committed to passing a Green New Deal, because our futures depend on it. Our coalition includes climate activists, community members, and elected officials dedicated to our mission to win cleaner, safer, and more energy-efficient communities. Politicians owe it to their constituents to put community needs ahead of Big Oil and Gas corporations who, in 2024 alone, have spent $32 million lobbying Republicans and $4 million lobbying Democrats for their own monetary and legal gains.1 That's why our coalition is working hard to pass a Green New Deal at the national and state levels as quickly as possible — and we're increasing the pressure on our leaders to say no to Big Oil's interests + money.
