BREAKING: President Biden proposes Supreme Court term limits

Jason,   In September, I took to the House floor to urge political reform and reign in Supreme Court misconduct.    Now, President Biden and Justice Kagan are publicly demanding judicial accountability.   Just this week, President Biden has proposed a binding code of ethics, 18-year term limits for Justices, and a constitutional amendment to reverse presidential immunity. And Justice Kagan called for stronger external ethics enforcement rather than justices policing themselves.   Momentum for Supreme Court reform is building. The Supreme Court is in a legitimacy crisis. Justices have failed to disclose gifted yacht trips, refused to recuse themselves from cases with conflicts of interest, and secretly endorsed returning "our country to a place of godliness."   70% of American adults believe Justices shape the law to fit their ideologies instead of being fair or impartial and nearly 40% say they have hardly any confidence in the Court at all.   TAKE ACTION: Tell Congress to implement term limits and a binding ethics code for justices.
