| Dear Jason, We are sure you didn't wake up and think to yourself, "today is the day I am going to make a donation to the Democratic National Committee." But that's what we need all Democrats to do today: A few days ago, and maybe lost in the news, the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee recently announced they raised $331 million in the second quarter of the year. Let us repeat that: $331 million. It's scary stuff. That is money they will use to try to defeat Joe Biden and Democrats running down the ballot in November. In fact, they are using it right now to run ads in swing states across the country. So... here we are. Arguably at a make-or-break moment for Democrats up and down the ballot, and the only way we can fight back to win is if we have the resources. We send a good number of these emails, and there is no way anyone would expect you to donate to each of them. But with the Republican convention coming up and a critical FEC fundraising deadline shortly after, Democrats running everywhere are hoping you'll give to this one.
