Jason, these past few months have been a whirlwind. So, I wanted to step back and take a few minutes to remind you how we got here -- and why your support for the DNC and for our campaign is so important to our success on Election Day in three days. The truth is: I am no stranger to unlikely journeys. I grew up in the East Bay, immersed in the ideals of the civil rights movement, and at a young age I decided I wanted to be a lawyer. I wanted to protect people because I believe everyone has a right to safety, dignity, and justice. Every day in the courtroom, I stood proudly before a judge and said five words: Kamala Harris, for the people. Throughout my career, I have only had one client: The people. Today, we have the chance to chart a new way forward -- not as members of any one party or faction, but as Americans. I want you to know that I will be a president who unites us around our highest aspirations. A president who leads and listens, who is realistic, practical, and has common sense. A president who always fights for the American people. I cannot do it alone. No one person could. It takes a team. It takes millions and millions of people coming together at once to shape the outcome of this election and elect Democrats up and down the ballot. Millions of Americans have already voted, and millions more will vote on Election Day.
