Today, Pennsylvanians are casting their ballots in what will be the most important election of our lifetimes — and they have an important choice to make.
Every day that I've had the honor of representing our great Commonwealth, I've fought for the people of Pennsylvania — our workers, children, seniors, and people with disabilities. I've worked to protect American jobs, to make our border more secure, and to lower costs for working families. I have fought to take on corporate greed, and no matter what, I've always put Pennsylvania first.
My record as Senator makes it clear whom I'm fighting for in Washington. But there's still more work to cut through the gridlock, stand up to powerful special interests, and make the lives of hardworking Pennsylvanians easier.
And in today's election, the stakes are far too high to sit on the sidelines.
Women's rights, workers' rights, and voting rights are on the line. We must win Pennsylvania to win the White House and preserve our Senate majority, and it's going to take all of us working together to do just that.
To quote Bruce Springsteen's lyrics, "We take care of our own."
That's what it means to be a Commonwealth. We take care of our children and our seniors. We take care of our veterans and people with disabilities. We take care of the men and women of organized labor — the people I've fought for every day I've been an elected official.
When I cast my ballot today, I'll be thinking about those words: We take care of our own. And I hope that you'll do the same.
We're going to take care of each other, and together, we're going to win this election and keep fighting for Pennsylvania.
Let's fight to the finish.
