That's in addition to the 1,000 VA employees that have already been laid off, including workers who staffed the Veterans Crisis Line. Let that sink in. | | Meanwhile, my Republican colleagues in Congress have put together a budget plan that will force families to pay more for groceries, more for health care, more for education, and more for caregiving. | | The Republican agenda that we're seeing right now is cruel and irresponsible. It's not what folks voted for.
