I don't run an email program like most other candidates.
In a lot of political emails, they lie to you about fake donation matches, or they try to intimidate you into donating. I don't.
My messages to you are 100% honest. I explain our real goals and deadlines—we are trying to raise $100,000 by email by the end of the day today to stay on track for what our campaign needs to be competitive. And, I do talk about Donald Trump's dangerous agenda because those are the stakes of the next election.
But as a consumer protection attorney, I don't engage in scammy fundraising tactics, like a bogus 5x match or needing 17 donors from your zip code. It's not my style.
I want to earn your support the old-fashioned way: by making the case for why I would be the best governor for California and the best fighter to stand up for our shared values.
I can't win this campaign without you. I'd be so grateful if you would chip in $5 or whatever you can today to help us meet our $100,000 March goal.
