Jason,
ICE has become a rogue, militarized police force operating with impunity, terrorizing immigrant communities, and violating the rights of American citizens.
Yet DHS refuses to hold them accountable. In fact, they're asking Congress to TRIPLE their budget.
Congress has the power to stop this. And I'm drawing a clear line: There will be NO new funding for DHS without real, enforceable accountability for ICE agents and plans for humane immigration reform.
I've introduced a comprehensive 10-point resolution to hold ICE accountable and restore the rule of law, and I will vote NO on any DHS funding bill that fails to meet these standards.
Here's what my plan does:
✅ Vote no on the DHS funding bill.
✅ Repeal the multi-year $75 billion funding for ICE.
✅ Impeach Noem and Bondi.
✅ End qualified immunity for ICE agents.
✅ Investigate and prosecute every single ICE agent who broke the law.
✅ End the Kavanaugh stops with racial profiling and the militarization of ICE.
✅ Codify a use-of-force standard so courts can enforce the law against rogue ICE agents.
✅ Tear down and replace ICE with an agency that has oversight.
✅ Prohibit masks and mandate body cameras and visible identification for immigration officers.
✅ Establish human rights standards at immigration detention facilities.
Let me be crystal clear: DHS will not get one more penny until ALL ten of these reforms are agreed to. I will not allow Congress to rubber-stamp funding for a "homeland security" agency that blatantly and unapologetically harms our people.
Public pressure is how we keep Congress from folding. Over 250,000 people have signed our petition. Will you join and make your voice heard?
ADD YOUR NAME: Support my 10-point plan to address ICE's abuse of power.
