Trump spent his first year in office:

  • Repeatedly threatening his political opponents, talking about arresting them and calling some lawmakers' opposition "punishable by death."
  • Building a $400 million White House ballroom while cutting food assistance for people nationwide.
  • Threatening to end voting by mail and asking his allies to redraw congressional maps in their favor.
  • Trying to intimidate news agencies that have accurately covered his disastrous second term in office.

Trump wants us to be too scared to speak out. He and his allies are counting on all of us completely giving up and giving in.

But we can't. And we won't.

That's why this month is so important. 2026 has just begun, but this year, we've got a real chance to take back the House and Senate and prevent another two years of unbridled cruelty.
