If we are going to rebuild trust in government and make it work for working people, politicians have to be honest with their supporters.

A lot of politicians will try to scam their supporters with BS fundraising messages.
Just look at what Donald Trump has been sending lately: Unbelievable emails asking supporters to donate to his campaign so Democrats don't steal their so-called "tariff rebate checks."

This is a scam, plain and simple. Donating to his campaign won't make a tariff rebate appear, but his messages are intentionally misleading.
If we are going to rebuild trust in government and make it work for working people, politicians have to be honest with their supporters.
That's why I do things differently. I try to keep you updated on my race, what I'll do as governor, and what's actually at stake.
The truth is we have to ask for money, but we give a clear explanation of how it will help us win this competitive race.
So I'll be honest: We're counting on people receiving this email to chip in $5—or whatever you can afford to keep us competitive. Can you donate today?

Thank you so much for your generosity. I'm grateful to have you on my team.
