This is the most important reproductive rights case since SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022.
Today, oral arguments took place in the U.S. Supreme Court case regarding mifepristone, one of the most common prescription drugs used in medication abortion. It's the most important reproductive rights case since SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022.
This case will determine the fate of the abortion pill and whether or not it will remain easily accessible for millions of patients across the country.
Mifepristone is a safe, effective drug that many count on for medication abortion, the treatment of miscarriages, and many other health issues. But in their ongoing fight to roll back reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy, anti-abortion extremists — including doctors with long records advocating against abortion and no experience prescribing mifepristone — are trying to restrict access to it through the Court.
In January, I joined 23 other attorneys general in issuing an amicus brief urging SCOTUS to follow the science and preserve full access to mifepristone. I also took action to stockpile the commonly used drug here in California in addition to other measures to ensure our state remains a safe haven for abortion access.
As your Attorney General, I will ALWAYS defend your rights and reproductive freedom. Will you support me along the way by pitching in $5 or more before our upcoming end-of-quarter fundraising deadline on March 31?

Anything you can contribute today will help me keep up the fight for reproductive freedom for all in California and across the country.
Thanks for all you do,
