In just a moment, I am going to ask you to split a donation between four California Democrats running to flip Republican House seats — seats we need to win to take the House majority in November.
I am sure your inbox is filled with a lot of fundraising requests right now, but please give me a chance to explain why this request — especially today — is so important.
Here's the truth:
Tonight at midnight, House candidates close the books on the last official quarterly FEC fundraising deadline of the campaign. When it ends, candidates are legally required to report how much money they've raised.
It's the kind of thing everyone looks at: press, allies, and opponents.
Press wants to see if these campaigns have what it takes to win, and it impacts media coverage. Opponents want to see if these candidates are vulnerable to attacks, and a weak report can unleash a lot of spending against them in the final weeks.
So I am asking you to split a donation between three Democratic House campaigns in California — Rudy Salas, Will Rollins, Adam Gray and Joe Kerr.
All four can win. They just need the resources. Especially before this FEC deadline comes to a close in just a few hours. So please:
