Polling shows that youth voter turnout INCREASES when there are young progressive candidates on the ballot.
We've been saying this from the start! This polling sheds new light on a new narrative: 61% of young Democrats in battleground states said that they were far more likely to show up to the polls if there's also a young, progressive candidate running down-ballot.
These voters will be key if we're going to stop Donald Trump and MAGA from retaking the White House this year.
We get it, Jason — this election has left many young people feeling hopeless and disillusioned.
But we can't give up.
If we're going to protect our democracy and our rights from the GOP's constant attacks, it's imperative that we continue to build on the momentum of our past successes to overcome the challenges ahead — from special interest groups trying to buy elections to the elected officials standing in the way of us making any real progress on the issues.
