Tonight I'm facing the biggest end-of-quarter deadline of this election and possibly my entire political career. Right now we're falling $18,000 short of our goal. If you can donate right now, here is the link.
This deadline is so important for a few reasons:
It's our last end-of-quarter FEC report of the campaign. Yes, we are that close to Election Day.
Ballots will be mailed out next week. We have no time to make up for a deficit. It's now or never.
We have to keep our TV ads up on air. Republicans are flooding the airwaves and we have to match them dollar-for-dollar.
If we raise enough, we'll be able to green-light additional surge support for our organizing team.
We have to out-organize the Republicans and get our supporters to return their ballots to save this toss-up seat - it's one of the most competitive in the country! If our opponents get 100 voters in one precinct to the polls, we have to get 200 more to win. It's that simple.
But if we fall short tonight, the GOP will have an advantage because they will own the TV airwaves and be able to out-organize us at the doors. We cannot let that happen.
That's why I'm asking you to please send in the biggest donation you can possibly make before my final end-of-quarter deadline at midnight. It's the only thing that will help us come out on top.
