Friends,
What the Trump administration is doing in Minnesota is against the law.
No matter what Donald Trump and Kristi Noem try to tell the American people, ICE does not have free rein to violate the law, attack peaceful protesters, and systematically conduct unconstitutional stops and arrests.
I've filed a new amicus brief to demand the end of these deliberately aggressive and unlawful immigration enforcement practices.
Let's be clear: what ICE is doing is not about public safety. It's about intimidation, control, and using federal officers to stoke fear in our communities.
Their tactics blatantly disregard policing norms, Minnesota's state sovereignty, and the sanctity of human life.
Trump himself has said that Minnesota is just the beginning — if left unchecked, he will no doubt threaten the safety, autonomy, and well-being of more states and communities.
But I refuse to stand by while the President abuses his power and weaponizes federal officers against American cities and people. I'll keep fighting against Trump's unlawful militarized tactics until everyone who calls this country home is protected.
Add your name if you agree: ICE can't unconstitutionally terrorize Minnesota.
