Folks, this is what elected leaders must do in the face of an administration that is intent on destroying our democracy for their own gain.

I have spent my career working for North Carolinians. Advocating for more resources for students in public schools and better pay for teachers. Building a clean energy economy to bring good-paying jobs to our communities while protecting this planet. Defending the right to cast a ballot and participate in our democracy. Fighting for Medicaid Expansion and winning it for the people. I stand ready to do all this and more to deliver for the American people as the next Democratic Senator from North Carolina.

Far-right Republicans don't tend to like that about me — and they don't want me bringing this fight to Washington.

They're attacking me in the media — President Trump has even done so from the stage at his rallies. They're preparing to spend untold sums trying to take me down.

But I know how to win here. And I will not back down.

Because I have you on my side.

Team, this is the most consequential Senate race of the midterms. It's the seat that can take back the majority, break the GOP's hold on Washington, and return power to the people.
