I know the world can feel overwhelming right now. In the past few weeks it seems like there is a new piece of news everyday about our country heading in the wrong direction—more division, more attacks on working people, more chaos.
Moments like this remind me why I chose public service. Right now, I feel the same call to serve that I did in 2016—when I saw families like my own struggling and under attack from Donald Trump.
We can either stay silent or fight back. I'm choosing to fight, and I need people like you with me. I am so grateful for every time you've raised your voice, supported us online, or chipped in to our campaign.
